ASI provided turnkey in-line baggage handling systems for the Airport Terminal Expansion Project at the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. The baggage handling systems consist of a North in-line, South in-line and an oversized baggage systems. Each inline system involves a complement of baggage handling equipment including check-in conveyors, spiral turn, high speed diverter, queue conveyors, reverse merges, power turns, incline and decline transport conveyors, plough merge and make-up carrousel. Baggage on each line travels through a laser baggage dimensioner and then through two EDS (Explosives Detection System) machines before arriving at baggage room.
